Secondlife is a world where people are not who they are. The dog walking by may be a stockbroker in reality. The man asking you to dance may be a woman, you just never know. Because of the anonymity of Secondlife you can be anyone you wish to be.
Razor indigo is a character in Secondlife, and now my pen name in real life. She is a strong woman and a young one. in her late 20s / early 30s, Razor is at the point in life where she knows herself and will not take guff from anyone. She does as she will and expects her friends and family to respect that. As an Avatar, Razor will always be that, as she can change or not, as she sees fit. In short, Razor is someone who is not a middle-aged housewife with all the problems of growing older, nor is she insecure about any aspect of her life. She is in command and has the power to make or buy anything she wants. Razor is a dream of us all.
Razor started her life as a character from a friend's book. She was made to be a "live action" character. The author S. A. Stone (Noir Nagy on SecondLife) wanted the main characters of his book live on SL. He asked his friends to make and be those avatars. I was one friend who enjoyed the Secondlife world beyond the role of the character. Razor Indigo became someone other than the character originally created and separated from the others. The author ended up getting someone else to fill the character role, and Razor Indigo and I went out on our own.
Razor's Family in Secondlife is a diverse group. There are people from the US, the UK, Germany, Canada, Greece, India, Japan, and more. The family is global.
Trina is my SL partner and my eldest and dearest friend. Trina is my other half. What I don't not do, Trina does. Trina is also young and brash, but she is more reserved about it since she is British. Trina has been with me for over 4 years!
Niamh is my pet cat. Niamh (pronounced Nee vee - It is a Celtic thing; words are not allowed to be spelled like they sound) is a Neko. Though very reserved from her British background, Niamh is still a cat, and she acts like it.
Ai is one of my newest family members. She is best described as an advocate. If there is something unjust, Ai will jump right in and try to right the wrong. Ai is also a game-master in the superhero roleplay game.
Bernard is an alien come to SL Earth. If you have ever watched the movie UHF, he is Philo, the genius who sits in his workshop watching everything, and simply does what he wants to in response.
Dee is that quiet person in the corner who while you are running and dancing and playing is creating some sort of world changing device, or helping some one who is lost or hurt find their way. Dee taught me to build in SL. Dee is also a cat, and Niamh's SL partner.
Elizabeth is the mute child who says everything with her actions. Although she has never 'spoken' a word in SL, she communicates with everyone easily and get her point across without meaningless talk.
Jeanne is the contrary sister who everyone loves and hates all at once. She revels in getting under your skin, but under hers, she is an intelligent and wonderful person.
Lottie is what a best friend is always supposed to be. We may have not talked for weeks, and next time we do, we pick up exactly where we left off. No judgement no pressure, just that quiet understanding that we all wish we had.
Mary is my youngest, in both age and personality. She is both innocent and shy. Like her real life self, Mary is a self professed geek and introvert. She is also one of the smartest people in SL.
Meijui is a butterfly trapped in a world of moths. She is an artist and a sensitive trying to get through RL and SL without losing her softness. Meijui builds and creates works of art, whether as a beautifully built house or as a tiny small delicate earring, Meijui makes them all works of art.
Misty is that friend you have who is always looking for and learning about something new. She is never satisfied to just sit and wait, she goes and tries things and tries to learn whatever she can. Misty is Lottie's partner in SL and in RL.
Noir is totally different from all the others. He is all business and all serious. He's even open and public about his real life on SL. He is the one who started me and many others here in SL because of his enthusiasm for it. While he is not a confidant or deeply emotional with the family, he is still part of the group of people I trust.
Razgriz matches her name to her attitude. This young grizzled warrior is old before her time, and her attitude shows it. She and I are the opposites who can not resist clashing over everything, but oddly enough, we also always agree at the end. Razgriz is also one of the best mathematicians and builders I have ever met in SL.
Sho is a unique friend to me. With a full family life and a career, Sho still finds time to come to SL and play and talk. Sho and I have been good friends since 2009.
Tarrou is one of my oldest friends on SL. He is just an infrequent visitor, but when he comes online and explores he always has interesting things to say.
Tempest was, and always will be my inspiration. She is the one who mentored me in and taught me the ins and outs of SL. Although she stopped coming online regularly, she is still one of the people I trust the most.
Unju is one of mymost open friends. She is one of the few who spoke with me about real life issues. She left SL last year, but will always have a place in my heart.
