Ian Fleming helped create this series, but he eventually had to separate from it because of the James bond series. Lots of copyrights and product intermingling and other silly stuff, so he stepped away and then the series developed into the spy series of the 1960s. There were even sspoofs of it, including a Tom and Jerry Spoof called The Mouse from H.U.N.G.E.R. It is a good series.
